SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: The Beertender is responsible for interacting with guests and visitors in a manner that enhances the Marble experience by serving craft beer and educating guests while adhering to Marble’s alcohol service policy.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with guests in a manner that creates a welcoming environment for the enjoyment of craft beer and which nurtures an excellent guest experience.
- Deliver a consistently high level of guest service to each guest and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem guests and dealing with them appropriately.
- Assess guests’ needs and beverage preferences and make beer recommendations.
- Check guest’s identification and confirm each guest is of legal drinking age.
- Assess guest behavior to avoid overserving a guest or serving an intoxicated guest.
- Re-stock and replenish bar supplies as well as the reach-in “to go” beer cooler.
- Learn about, understand and be able to explain the beer styles available on draft in the taproom, including describing flavor profiles and ingredients.
- Process guest payments throughout the shift and be able to account for any discrepancies in the final tally of sales.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Marble Brewery Alcohol Policy and attend Marble’s Responsible Alcohol Service seminar at least annually.
- Monitor and maintain all sound and lighting levels to maintain proper ambience.
- Keep all areas of the Pub or Taproom clean, orderly, and well maintained and perform cleaning, opening and closing tasks, or other tasks, as assigned by the Taproom Manager.
- Take on other day to day activities necessary to keep the Pub or Taproom running smoothly and efficiently.
- Work with all levels of management in providing a superior Taproom experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in and serving customers in a food and beverage business (e.g., a restaurant, bar or taproom).
- Current New Mexico Alcohol Server certificate.
- Passion for craft beer.
- Objective-oriented, focused, individual who needs little direction or supervision; energy and enthusiasm are critical.
- Excellent planner and organizer.
- Excellent communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a full-time or part-time position working in a bar environment. This position requires the employee to interact with the public in a friendly and welcoming manner and at times may require dealing with intoxicated, unruly or unpleasant people. This job requires a flexible weekly schedule including days, evenings, nights and weekends, as necessary, as well as festivals and special events.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The Beertender must be able to stand for extended periods, be able to negotiate a crowd of beer drinkers, be able to lift and move cases and kegs of beer, be good with people and be capable of independent thought and communication.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the ongoing procurement and management of raw materials, packaging materials, chemicals and miscellaneous supplies or machine parts in such a way as to facilitate maximizing production in the brewery. The Inventory Analyst must forecast material inventory needs and procure and manage delivery logistics of all items required for packaging and distributing beer in volume and on time.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In consultation with the 111 Brewery Production Manager and sales team, develop an inventory forecast that results in sufficient on-hand/on-time inventory of brewing and packaging materials and raw materials for scheduled brewing and packaging runs.
- Refine inventory reorder points for grains, hops, adjunct ingredients, packaging materials, raw materials, chemicals and miscellaneous supplies based on historical sales and future growth estimates supplied by the sales team.
- Place purchase orders with suppliers according to current lead times and advise management of any issues with suppliers for resolution assistance.
- Coordinate the on-time delivery of brewing and packaging material and raw materials and miscellaneous supplies from external vendors and off-site warehouse (e.g., BSG, YCH, Fidelitone and Marble-controlled off-site storage).
- Aid packaging operators with the procurement of necessary supplies.
- Improve purchasing procedures including the development of a purchase requisition/order database and inventory receipt verification.
- Perform monthly inventory counts including reporting variances to management and adjusting Ekos inventory to verified count.
- Utilize the GroupMe app or other designated group communication tool to facilitate efficient communication across the entire brewery team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, statistics, project management or significant experience in procurement and inventory and warehouse management.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Objective-oriented, focused, individual who needs little direction or supervision; energy and enthusiasm are critical.
- Excellent planner and organizer.
- Technology proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfortability using database and spreadsheet applications.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal, including strong presentation skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a self-directed position that requires the employee to efficiently accomplish the primary objectives independently and with very little day-to-day supervision. The Inventory Analyst will analyze current packaging needs and ingredients and determine what to procure or order and when to do so to ensure sufficient inventory of materials and supplies necessary to package and ship beer to Marble Brewery’s distributors and off-site tap rooms. This job requires a Monday – Friday business day schedule but may include some evening and weekend work, including festival and special events.
REQUIREMENTS: The Inventory Analyst should be able to lift, and be comfortable lifting, cases and kegs of beer and boxes of supplies, be proficient in operating powered industrial trucks (automated and manual pallet jacks, forklifts) and in using a hand truck and to lift heavy objects on a regular basis and standing for extended periods. A portion of this job will be computer based and a portion of this job will require physical work.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Taproom Assistant Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing the staff and the operations of the Marble Brewery taproom to which they are assigned.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement all Marble policies and procedures including those regarding the handling of cash, property, product, and equipment.
- Conduct safe, secure and efficient operation and serving of guests.
- Maintain a high level of guest service that exceeds expectations, including soliciting guest feedback and resolving complaints.
- Manage and schedule employees to staff the taproom appropriately and make staffing cuts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Marble Brewery Alcohol Policy.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Monitor and maintain all sound and lighting levels to maintain proper ambience.
- Keep all areas of the taproom clean, orderly, and well maintained.
- Delegate appropriate responsibilities to staff members.
- Run reports at close.
- Schedule and run bank deposits.
- Reconcile petty cash, maintain a steady change bank, and submit all appropriate receipts to accounting.
- Perform end of month inventory counts.
- Take on other day to day activities necessary to keep the Taproom running smoothly and efficiently.
- Serve as point of contact for all bands, tours, and fundraisers.
- Handle band/sound payouts.
- Attend regularly scheduled manager meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing people in a food and beverage business or experience managing a bar.
- Current New Mexico Alcohol Server certificate.
- Previous experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office applications

WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a full-time position managing employees, guests, sales of beer and merchandise, and the taproom facility itself in a way that reflects Marble Brewery culture and which requires the employee to efficiently accomplish the primary objectives independently and with very little day-to-day supervision. This job requires a flexible weekly schedule of 40-50 hours per week, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, as necessary, as well as festival and special events.

JOB TITLE: Shift Brewer

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Shift Brewer is responsible for brewing quality beer in a timely manner pursuant to established procedures in such a way as to facilitate maximizing production of high-quality craft beer.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely and efficiently produce wort pursuant to established recipes and procedures for all Marble classic and specialty beers.
- Transfer wort and beer in partnership with the cellar and packaging teams.
- Perform cleaning procedures on all equipment to ensure sanitary conditions in the brewery and the production of beer free of contamination.
- Participate in and assist as necessary with quality control and laboratory procedures to ensure production of high-quality beer.
- Following the beer through its life cycle from mashing in and wort production, to cellar transfer, to dry hopping, crashing, and packaging to maintain quality throughout the entire process of producing craft beer.
- Assist with draft system maintenance at the 111 tap room.
- Perform brewhouse, fermenter and brite tank cleaning cycles.
- Document all steps of the brewing process and all materials and ingredients utilized on a written or electronic brew log and in the Ekos brewery management system.
- Maintain a safe work environment and participate regularly in safety training.
- Utilize the GroupMe app or other designated group communication tool to facilitate efficient communication across the entire brewery team.

- Experience producing and packaging high-quality craft beer at another craft brewery.
- Ability to follow procedures and document all steps in the brewing process.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a team-oriented position that requires the employee to work independently as well as a part of a larger team. The Shift Brewer will follow the weekly production plan and will communicate constantly with the 111 Production Manager and other shift brewers to brew the correct beer on time and with high quality. The Shift Brewer will be able to adapt quickly to changes in production scheduling and will be able to operate multiple types of complex machinery such as boilers, air compressors, glycol chillers, a commercial brewhouse, heat exchangers, pumps, grain mills, powered industrial trucks, laboratory equipment and other equipment necessary to the production of beer. This job works on a schedule of four 10-hour days which may not be consecutive and which will involve early morning and/or late-night hours, including some weekend work.
REQUIREMENTS: The Shift Brewer should be able to lift, and be comfortable lifting, 50-pound bags of grain, cases and kegs of beer and boxes of supplies, be proficient in operating powered industrial trucks (automated and manual pallet jacks, forklifts) and in using a hand truck and to lift heavy objects on a regular basis and standing for extended periods.
