JOB TITLE: Taproom Security

REPORTS TO: Pub or Taproom Manager

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Taproom Security employee is responsible for checking guest and employee parking lots for suspicious activity, for reporting any suspicious activity to the Taproom Manager or to police, as appropriate, and for patrolling the taproom (and brewery) facility during busy periods, and works to provide guests and visitors with a high-quality taproom experience that supports and enhances the Marble brand.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Periodically patrol guest and employee parking lots and taprooms.

Interact with guests in a manner that creates a welcoming environment for the enjoyment of craft beer and which nurtures an excellent guest experience.

Deliver a consistently high level of guest service to each guest and maintain a clean and safe environment by identifying problem guests and dealing with them appropriately.

Keep taproom, patio and parking areas clean and free of debris.

Ensure compliance with Marble Brewery’s Alcohol Service Policy and attend Marble’s Responsible Alcohol Service seminar at least annually.

Monitor guest behavior and intoxication levels, identify potential problem guests and manage them effectively in coordination with other taproom staff.

Assist with de-escalating situations involving problem guests without the use of force or violence.

Take on other day to day activities necessary to keep the Taproom running smoothly and efficiently.

Work with all levels of management in providing a superior Taproom experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

Be at least 21 years old and hold a current New Mexico Alcohol Server certificate.

Passion for craft beer.

Objective-oriented, focused, individual who needs little direction or supervision; energy and enthusiasm are critical.

Excellent communication skills.
